Press Release

Above are 12 pictures donated by the gallery and our photographers to benefit people in our community in Los Angeles - artists, photographers, printers, framers, art handlers, gallery staff, museum staff, etc. - who have lost their homes and are in need of some financial relief.

In co-operation with the members of AIPAD, the Getty Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art we have asked for vetted names of people most in need.

The prices of all these pictures are the non-negotiable sale price and 100% of the money raised will go directly to the recipients.  (If any money is left over it will go to a recommended charity.)  This way the money can go quickly and directly to those in need without any red tape.

Danziger Gallery will be completely transparent in these transactions.  Our sole aim is to help.

The way you can help is to e-mail me at jd@danzigergallery.com if you would like to buy any of these photographs.  There is only one print of each image for sale.  We plan to put up another 12 pictures from our AIPAD colleagues shortly.

Thank you for your consideration as we wish our friends in Los Angeles relief and healing from this terrible event.
