Press Release

For our October online exhibition, we are pleased to present a selection of 25 classic photographs covering 123 years of photography  from 1887 to 2010.  What makes a “classic” photograph?  It is not just that these images have been reproduced and acknowledged as great photographs - in order for that to happen an image must have a visceral quality, a perfection of composition, an emotional resonance, and a compelling subject.  Covering a wide range of styles and techniques  we hope this selection will engage your senses (and sensibilities).  For more information on any of these images please contact the gallery at info@danzigergallery.com.
